PSF Housing Officer Takes on the TCS London Marathon in Support of Combat Stress
Pinnacle Service Families is proud to celebrate the achievements of Housing Officer Bill Hersey, who is preparing to take on the 2024 TCS London Marathon in support of Combat Stress, the UK’s leading charity for veterans’ mental health. Bill’s marathon journey began at the age of nine, when he watched the very first London Marathon and set his sights on one day taking part. After years of entering the ballot - and overcoming an injury setback last year - he has finally secured his place on the iconic start line. Choosing to run for Combat Stress was an easy decision for Bill. The charity’s work sits at the heart of the military community we support every day, and it is also PSF’s chosen charity partner. Their specialist mental health services play a vital role in ensuring veterans receive the support they need, aligning closely with our families‑first approach. Bill is now training hard and fundraising ahead of race day. Support his efforts here: https://lnkd.in/geN8dSzg Everyone at PSF is behind you, Bill - we’ll be cheering you on every step of the way.
