Social Value
What is social value?
Social value is the positive impact we create beyond our core contractual requirements – strengthening communities, supoprting skills and employment, protecting the environment, and improving the lives of hte people and place we serve.
How we measure it
We use a nationally-recognised framework called TOMs (Themes, Outcomes and Metrics) to evidence our social values across employment, skills, environment, community, and Armed Forces support. We record, assure and report this data to demonstrate clear, measureable value.
Our Charitable Partners
At Pinnacle Service Families, giving back is woven into our culture. Through fundraising, volunteering and sharing our skills, we help strengthen the communities we serve and extend our support to Armed Forces families and beyond. Every effort, no matter the size, creates meaningful change and brings our values to life.
Combat Stress
Combat Stress is the UK’s leading charity for veterans’ mental health, providing specialist, life‑changing treatment for former service personnel living with complex conditions such as PTSD, Complex‑PTSD, anxiety, depression and moral injury. Their expert clinical teams offer evidence‑based, trauma‑informed care, working directly with veterans to create tailored treatment plans that support long‑term recovery. For over a century, Combat Stress has been a vital lifeline for those whose military experiences have had a profound impact on their mental wellbeing.
We’re proud to support Combat Stress because their work is genuinely transformative helping veterans rebuild confidence, strengthen resilience, and regain a sense of hope and stability. Their mission to reduce the burden of trauma‑related mental health conditions closely reflects our commitment to social impact, compassion and supporting those who have served our country.
Military Wives Choirs
The Military Wives Choirs bring together nearly 2,000 women across more than 70 choirs in the UK and overseas, creating a supportive community built through the joy and power of singing. They welcome women from all parts of the military community whether serving, veterans, partners, mothers, sisters or daughters offering connection, understanding and a sense of belonging through shared experience.
We’re proud to support the Military Wives Choirs because they help reduce isolation, boost wellbeing and empower women whose lives are shaped by military service. Their work strengthens communities, nurtures resilience and provides a vital lifeline for those who face the unique challenges of military life.
Our partnership means PSF employees are eligible to join the Military Wives Choirs, a welcoming community of women linked by military life and a love of singing.
