Report a problem outside of my home
If you see a problem outside your home and you live in an area managed by the MOD Estate, please let us know. You can report it by contacting the National Service Centre.
If you do not live on an MOD Estate, please report the problem to the right organisation, such as the Local Authority for streetlights or your water company for burst drains
Reporting a problem
The MOD Estate looks after things like local playparks, streetlights, potholes in the road, street signs, drains, manholes, grids, and trees in shared areas. You should let us know if you notice problems such as:
– Vandalism or graffiti in a playpark
– A streetlight that has stopped working
– Dangerous potholes in the road
– Damaged street signs
– Blocked drains or gutters
If you see any damage, please tell us. We will need:
– The nearest road name and house number, plus anything that helps us find the exact spot
– A clear description of the problem, especially if it could be unsafe
– Your name, address, phone number, and email
– For streetlights, please also write down the black number printed on the streetlight column. This number is usually at eye level
