Who are we?
Pinnacle Service Families helps look after homes for military families. We run the National Service Centre, where families can call to ask for help with repairs, moving in, moving out, or getting a home.
We support families living in Service Family Accommodation (SFA) across the UK, working with the Defence Infrastructure Organisation (DIO).
We have teams who:
– Help families apply for and get their homes.
– Take repair calls and book appointments with DIO’s repair companies.
– Support move‑ins and move‑outs through local housing officers.
– Look after complaints and compensation when something needs to be put right.
Putting Families First
We are proud to support you and your family with Service Family Accommodation (SFA). This is part of the Future Defence Infrastructure Services (FDIS) programme. There are about 49,000 homes across the UK. We understand that every move and every repair matters, because they affect your daily life.
These contracts were created with families at the centre. Families helped to shape what the services should be and how they work today. We want you to know that this involvement will continue. We will always look for ways to make our services better for you.
There are also many chances for you to get involved and share your ideas.
Who is responsible for your home?
The Defence Infrastructure Organisation (DIO) is part of the Ministry of Defence. They are in charge of making sure service families have homes to live in.
The DIO has given Pinnacle a contract to run the National Service Centre. This is the place you phone if you have a problem with your home or need help with home allocations. Pinnacle also manages the Housing Officers who visit you, and they look after complaints and compensation for the DIO.
The DIO also works with Amey and VIVO. These two companies fix and maintain your home. They also make sure homes are in good condition before a new family moves in. When you call the National Service Centre, Pinnacle will book repair jobs with Amey or VIVO.
DIO Partners
The main partners who help look after your Service Family Accommodation are Pinnacle, Amey, and VIVO. They all work on behalf of the Defence Infrastructure Organisation (DIO).
Pinnacle runs the National Service Centre. This is where you contact us when you need help with moving in or out, or when you have a problem with your home. We handle your phone calls and online requests.
When you get in touch, we will either send one of our Housing Officers to visit you, or we will pass the job to Amey or VIVO. These two companies have trained staff who come to your home to carry out repairs and maintenance.
You may also see members of our teams in your local area, working with other organisations to help support services across the Defence community.
